Our team
Shayla Stemple, CDP
OWNER, INTERIOR DESIGNER, LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE
I have spent most of my upbringing and entire adult life residing in West Virginia. I graduated from a CIDA Accredited Interior Design program at West Virginia University and grew my roots here in the Morgantown area. After fulfilling an internship with Mon General Hospital’s Facilities Management Team in 2013, I worked as an Interior Design Specialist at Omni Associates – Architects where I created and ran my Interior Design Department.
I took those these experiences and started my own company in 2018. With understanding and practice in jobs big and small, long and short, commercial and residential, smooth and unpredictable- I am able to look through many lenses when working on a new project tackling each uniquely.
Kara Ferguson
INTERIOR DESIGNER
I was born in Ohio, and grew up residing in Marietta Ohio, Paris France and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Architecture from Ohio University. My passion has always been to walk into a space and have freedom to change it into a complete experience.
My background in traveling and living in different cultures has given me an edge when it comes to designing within the field. With the knowledge of different cultures and design techniques, I have the ability to pull from various design styles and create interiors for a variety of clients. It is extremely rewarding to be able to use my experiences in design to continue to create spaces that matter and accommodate staff, clients and families.
Allison Bucklew
INTERIOR DESIGNER, LEED GREEN ASSOCIATE
I graduated from WVU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture and a minor in Sustainable Design. I have a great level of experience in commercial and residential design. I started my career in commercial and decided to take a career turn. Stemple Interiors is a design firm where I am able to work on a variety of projects. Having experience in commercial, residential, and healthcare gives designers a better understanding of how to successfully design interior spaces.
During my time at WVU, my classes made me realize my passion for sustainability and green buildings. This passion led me to get my LEED Green Associate Accreditation. This accreditation allows me to understand sustainability from a design and human health standpoint.
